Production Manufacturing Supervisor – App WeldMillerbernd Manufacturing is hiring a Production Manufacturing Supervisor – App Weld to join our 2nd shift Transportation & Infrastructure (Pole) team! The Production Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership, management and accountability for a production department in alignment with the company's objectives and core values.Job Title: Production Manufacturing SupervisorLocation: Winsted, MNSalary Range: $81,373 – $97,803/year (Exempt role) (In compliance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, this range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.)Shift Schedule: 2nd shift Monday – Thursday 3pm – 1amShift Differential: 2nd shift – $5,000 is additional pay on top of your base salary for working 2nd shift. This is divided equally per pay period.As a Production Manufacturing Supervisor – App Weld, you will:Leads a production team, including providing direction to Team Leads, with Core Values to assure completion of weekly and monthly schedules that meet or exceed Company expectationsAssure that all safety requirements (including training and PPE) are being met; lead the reduction of safety related incidents in departmentProvides direction in the resolution of technical and production-related problemsMonitors the alignment of production area with master production schedule and material planning to meet production goalsProvide direction and ensure all team members are trained and cross train in accordance to work instructions/standard operating procedures and customer requirements.Provides leadership to employees in department including: hiring, performance management, coaching, counseling and corrective actionsFacilitates communication, coordination and conflict resolution within and among work groupsActively participate in continuous improvement efforts leading and assigning actionsConducts start-up meetings; provides visual insights to team membersEnsures all inspection and work order sign-offs are being metPromote a positive team environment; drives inclusionResponds to Team Lead support with escalation for employee questions and concernsCommunicates management directives including policies; provides clarity of policies as necessaryAudits processesConsistently demonstrate and promote MMC Core ValuesMonitor and update timecards in ADP or ensures proper delegation to Team LeaderRole Qualifications as a Production Manufacturing Supervisor – App Weld:Preferred candidates will have an Associate's degree or equivalentPrior experience providing direction and building a high performing teamOther combinations of formal training and experience will be consideredPreferred candidates will have Welding knowledgeEffective and appropriate verbal and written communication skills in EnglishAbility to effectively work with others and lead in a team environmentAbility to meet production timelinesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel, and WordDesire to reinforce safety requirementsDemonstrated ability to solve practical problems, make decisions, and direct actionDemonstrated ability to read and understand required internal manufacturing paperwork and engineering documentationCapacity to effectively and professionally adapt to changing work prioritiesAbility to work well with all employees and earn mutual respectAccept and apply on the job training to advance your skill levelJoin Millerbernd Manufacturing – Where Your Career Can Take ShapeAbout Us: At Millerbernd, we don't just offer jobs—we build careers.
