Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Must Be Licensed - Outpatient

Overview A great outpatient is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their growing team for a contract assignment. The PTA works under the supervision of a registered or licensed physical therapist to provide physical treatment procedures that improve mobility and relieve pain caused by disease or injury. Responsibilities Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions under physician orders and PT supervision. Implement and modify the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment under PT supervision. Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals. Utilize treatment techniques such as massages, electrical stimulation, paraffin baths, hot and cold packs, traction, ultrasound, and other prescribed exercises. Qualifications Earned an associate’s degree from an accredited school. Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant or actively pursuing licensure. Current CPR certification.
