Accounting Manager

Owning the day-to-day financial operations, the full-time Accounting Manager will manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, expense management, and vendor administration while supporting bordereau and carrier payment operations, financial reporting, and audit administration in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities Oversee premium accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collections and accurate cash application Support the preparation of bordereau assembly and carrier payments, resolving discrepancies and maintaining the payment calendar Administer the annual audit response process and assist with statutory reporting and financial documentation Required qualifications 5-7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in a high-growth environment Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Working knowledge of GAAP and STAT, with experience in a regulated insurance business preferred Hands-on experience with accounting systems or ERPs and AP/spend management platforms Demonstrated ability to utilize AI tools for process improvements in accounting operations
