This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through May 15, 2026, providing support to both General Education and Special Education students in an onsite school setting. What You'll Bring:

• Master's degree in Social Work
• Current Social Work licensure in Michigan
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school-based environment
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention abilities
• Proficiency in communicating and collaborating with students, families, and colleagues
• Passion for contributing to a multidisciplinary team dedicated to student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional support and targeted behavior interventions
• Act as the 504 Plan Coordinator, ensuring effective development and implementation of student support plans
• Collaborate closely with fellow staff, administrators, and families to create safe, inclusive learning environments
• Offer crisis intervention and ongoing support to students facing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges
• Maintain clear, detailed records and documentation in accordance with school policies
• Champion a strengths-based approach to student support, advocating for diverse learning needs

This full-time role consists of 37.5 hours per week and is available for one committed professional looking to make a real difference in the lives of Detroit students. You’ll work exclusively onsite, immersed in a collaborative school environment that values your expertise and dedication.
