Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work
• Valid Michigan state licensure as a Social Worker
• Previous experience serving K-12 students within a school setting
• Advanced skills in clinical assessment, intervention strategies, and behavior supports
• Exceptional communication skills with both students and adults
• Collaborative mindset and eagerness to participate fully as part of a multidisciplinary team

Core Responsibilities:

• Serve a diverse caseload of general and special education students, providing targeted social-emotional interventions and behavioral support
• Act as the 504 Plan Coordinator, developing, implementing, and monitoring student accommodation plans
• Deliver both direct services and consultative support to students, families, and school staff
• Work closely with administrators, teachers, and families to address barriers to learning and promote student well-being
• Maintain accurate records and support compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in problem-solving teams, IEP meetings, and professional development activities
