Altour has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Corporate Travel Consultant to join our team and work with a top client! The Corporate Travel Consultant will offer best in class travel consultation, quote and book accurate domestic & international, air, car, and hotel reservations, ensuring all corporate travel policies are followed. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a team using Sabre GDS, working exchanges, pricing and changes for domestic and international bookings. The hours needed for this role are 10 AM - 7 PM ET, M-F.

Responsibilities include:

• Service inbound corporate and government contractor travel requests.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service to all ALTOUR clients.
• Secure the lowest air/car/hotel rates available at time of booking.
• Maintain goal expectations in the following areas:

• Productivity – measured by transactions per month.
• Quality – minimal customer service issues.
• Customer experience – measured through call monitoring performance.

Qualifications include:

• 5 years' travel selling experience.
• 5 + years' customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry.
• Experienced in international travel bookings and process
• Typing speed of at least 50 WPM
• Exceptional/above & beyond, proactive customer service approach.
• Excellent travel industry knowledge.
• Mastery in Sabre GDS, GDS formats, short cuts, enhancements, pricing.
• Corporate travel experience required; government/government contractor experience preferred.
• Experienced handling of multiple accounts.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to embrace change; adaptable.
