Qualified Mental Health Professional | Full Time

Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide mental health services at the Calhoun County Jail. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a mental health professional who wants to use their skills to make a meaningful impact. We welcome qualified professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including counselors, social workers, and psychiatric RNs.

What You'll Do

• Provide mental health assessments, evaluations, and ongoing clinical support
• Identify mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions as appropriate
• Monitor patient progress and document services in accordance with professional standards
• Assist with crisis intervention and mental health stabilization
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, and correctional staff to support patient care
• Provide mental health education and support
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care

Qualifications

• Qualified Mental Health Professional credentials appropriate to your discipline
• Qualified candidates may include Licensed Counselors, Social Workers, or Psychiatric RNs
• Mental health or behavioral health experience preferred
• Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Must meet all facility credentialing requirements
