'm Mark Leal, a local State Farm agent, and I'm looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Agent to join my growing team.

If you enjoy building relationships with business owners, identifying risks, and providing insurance solutions that protect what they've worked hard to build, this could be a great opportunity for you.

This is a base salary plus commission position, with pay based on experience. I'm looking for someone who understands commercial insurance, can confidently manage the sales process, and is motivated by the opportunity to grow their income and book of business.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business insurance customers
• Identify prospects and build a pipeline of commercial opportunities
• Assess each business's insurance needs, risks, and coverage gaps
• Recommend commercial insurance products based on the customer's needs
• Prepare and present clear, professional insurance proposals
• Follow up with prospects and confidently ask for the business
• Assist customers with policy renewals, coverage questions, and claims
• Cross-sell additional products when appropriate
• Maintain accurate records and follow up consistently

What I'm Looking For

• At least three years of business or commercial insurance sales experience
• Knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverage
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
• Confidence communicating with business owners and decision-makers
• Ability to build relationships while working toward production goals
• Active insurance license or ability to meet applicable licensing requirements

Compensation

• Competitive base salary based on experience

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs.

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
