Senior Accountant

We are partnering with a growing industrial services organization in the Fort Worth area that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys being close to the business, owning full-cycle accounting, and working in a dynamic environment where your work is highly visible. The role is primarily onsite in the office 4 days per week, which allows for strong collaboration with operations, finance leadership, and cross-functional teams.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Full-cycle accounting, including maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
• Preparation and posting of journal entries (accruals, prepaids, adjustments, etc.)
• Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations and variance analysis
• Preparation and support of full P&L and Balance Sheet reporting and related schedules
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Supporting internal and external audit requests with accurate documentation and explanations
• Partnering with operations and other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Assisting with inventory and fixed asset accounting (tracking, valuation, acquisitions/disposals)

What they’re looking for:

• 5+ years of progressive general accounting experience
• Hands-on SAP experience in an accounting/finance capacity
• Proven experience with full-cycle accounting and ownership of P&L and Balance Sheet activities
• Strong Excel skills and overall comfort with technology and system-driven environments
• Ability to work effectively in the office 4 days per week, collaborating closely with finance and operations
• Someone who is adaptable, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting
• A strong desire to continue learning, improving processes, and contributing beyond “just the debits and credits”
