Principal, Product Manager

Overview Position Summary: As a part of Walmart’s Customer Experience Product Org, you’ll be the voice of our customer. By putting the customer at the forefront, we help customers save both time and money no matter how they shop with us. Our user-centric approach puts customers and associates at the heart of everything we build. We solve problems collaboratively with design, technology, and business partners to deliver inclusive, customer-centric solutions in the Walmart app and website. This role is part of the Fulfillment team within the Customer Experience Product Organization, overseeing a strategic portfolio focused on pharmacy customer experience, restricted assortment CX, and InHome customer experience. The work spans end-to-end customer experiences that ensure accelerated access to all assortment, optimizing inventory, enhancing fulfillment speeds, boosting conversion rates, reducing cancellations, and improving the overall customer experience. To be successful, you’ll be comfortable with analytics and user experience design, able to influence leaders and teams, demonstrate structured thinking, and communicate effectively. You’ll do this role within the Fulfillment team to deliver customer-centric outcomes across the assortment and fulfillment experience. What you’ll do Define, develop, and enhance products – manage product roadmaps, create requirement documents, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, translate customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks. Test and Learn – define AB tests with analytics partners, measure success, suggest improvements, iterate on products and features, and tell compelling stories with data and UX. Identify strategies and a vision for fulfillment and customer location products using domain expertise, best practices, market opportunities, and business cases. Build collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating, prioritizing roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership. Your responsibilities Define and own the product vision and roadmap; set ambitious goals, prioritize initiatives, and translate strategic objectives into actionable plans. Deeply understand our customers: conduct user research, analyze data, and uncover insights to continually improve the customer experience. Optimize the funnel: refine acquisition strategies, streamline customer flows, and personalize user journeys for maximum conversion and retention. Champion innovation: experiment with new features, optimize product offerings, and explore partnerships to expand reach and value. Lead cross-functional collaboration: work with engineers, designers, marketers, and other teams to deliver impactful results. Measure and evangelize success: track key metrics, communicate progress, and build enthusiasm for the program’s achievements. Specific requirements 5 – 8 years of product management experience in relevant spaces, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex products. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related area. Preferred qualification: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related area. Sunnyvale, California US-11657: The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 Bentonville, Arkansas US-30005: The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
