As a non-profit community mental health center serving southeastern Jackson County, Missouri, we’re passionate about helping individuals impacted by mental illness or substance use find hope, support, and healing.Why ReDiscover?700+ dedicated professionalsOver five decades of community impactA culture grounded in compassion, collaboration, and growthAbout the Medication Services ProgramAt ReDiscover, our Medication Services Program plays a vital role in helping individuals achieve stability, hope, and wellness.Through our Med Clinics—located across several ReDiscover sites—our compassionate team partners with clients toevaluate their needs, prescribe appropriate medications, and provide ongoing monitoring and support.What You'll DoAssure consistent and high-quality service in Substance Use Disorder treatment facility.Communicate and collaborate with an internal multi-disciplinary team to address various aspects of wellness and ensure positive communication regarding the coordination of client care.Strategically use assessment information to make an appropriate clinical evaluation of client's current conditions in a timely manner. This includes (but not limited to) making appropriate referrals, consulting with physician, and/or educating the client as appropriate.Educate client and families on symptoms, medications and side effects.Provide a welcoming approach towards all clients, visitors and guests from a trauma informed approach.Collect and maintain information about clients and document interactions within ReDiscover’s designated electronic medical record.Requirements of the PositionAvailable to work a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, (40-hour work week)Graduation from an accredited nursing program.Active Missouri license as a Registered Nurse (or the ability to practice as a RN in the state of Missouri).Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory and management role is required.Minimum of one (1) years of nursing experience in a mental health or substance use disorder setting.Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as use of email.Grow With UsWe’re committed to your professional development and will support your growth as a Outpatient Nurse Manager through training, collaboration, and meaningful work.Ready to join a team that’s passionate about people?
