Registered Nurse – Radiation Oncology

Schedule

Working 4-10's weekdays.

Requirements

• RN with current license in good standing
• BLS through American Heart Association
• ACLS through American Heart Association
• At least 2 years of RN Radiation Oncology experience

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide appropriate nursing interventions for patients related to disease processes and treatments.
• Emphasize teaching and counseling to assist patients and families in coping with cancer diagnoses and treatments.
• Liaise between oncology teams, other departments, and physicians' offices for coordinated patient care.
• Evaluate patients in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist.
• Facilitate referrals for recovery, rehabilitation, and support services.
