Staff Pharmacist PartTime

Location: Limon, Colorado. Background: Hoffman Drug, established in 1926, has served the Limon community for over 100 years. Job Overview We are seeking a retail pharmacy professional to work approximately 20–25 hours per week, split across 2–2.5 days. A typical schedule could include Monday and Tuesday one week, and Thursday, Friday, and 4 hours on Saturday (9 am–1 pm) the following week. Key Responsibilities Provide consultation services to patients about medication use and potential drug interactions. Administer preventive healthcare measures such as immunizations. Supervise accurate compounding and dispensing of prescriptions following regulatory standards and company protocols. Assist in streamlining pharmacy operations to improve financial performance, inventory management, and customer satisfaction. Support enhanced customer experience through healthcare services including consultations, medication management, drug therapy reviews, immunizations, flu shots, and diabetes awareness. Supervise pharmacy intern interactions. Foster staff relations, encourage teamwork, set expectations, monitor progress, and address conflicts promptly. Keep current with pharmacy-related information technology. Ensure accurate processing of insurance claims and follow up with insurers and providers promptly. Collaborate with management to create and execute strategies to improve pharmacy profitability. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Qualifications Active pharmacy license in the state of practice with all licenses in good standing. Bachelor’s degree or PharmD in Pharmacy. Certification as an immunizer required.
