Location: Cameron, NC Pay Rate: $19.93 - $21.36/hour (based on experience) Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with rotating Saturdays, 8:00 AM-1:00 PM Why This Role Matters As a Phlebotomist II, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive accurate and timely diagnostic testing. Your expertise in specimen collection, attention to detail, and commitment to providing exceptional patient care will directly contribute to positive healthcare outcomes. What You'll Do Collect high-quality blood specimens through venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric collections Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures Verify patient identification and specimen labeling to ensure accuracy and compliance Maintain required records and documentation while adhering to confidentiality standards Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming, professional experience for patients Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties with confidence and accuracy Travel between patient service centers and client locations as needed to support operational needs Support a safe, professional, and efficient work environment What We're Looking For A current, up-to-date resume High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections Must be able to perform pediatric blood draws and work confidently with pediatric patients Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred Strong specimen collection, processing, and documentation skills Excellent customer service and patient communication abilities Experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred Keyboarding and data entry experience Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between work locations as needed Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment Ability to meet compliance requirements Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US What's In It For You Opportunity to make a direct impact on patient care and laboratory operations Gain valuable experience in a patient-focused healthcare environment Work alongside a collaborative and supportive team Expand your phlebotomy and specimen processing expertise Variety in your workday through interaction with diverse patient populations Potential pathway to long-term employment opportunities Benefits for Manpower Associates (Upon Eligibility) Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for: #J-18808-Ljbffr Manpower, Inc.
