Lateral Attorney - Medical Malpractice

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join its office in Mount Laurel, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8 years of experience representing healthcare facilities and providers across various medical specialties. This role offers an opportunity to develop advanced courtroom skills and participate in trials. Duties Research and interpret facts and law in complex litigation cases. Perform analysis and provide opinions impacting clients. Research and prepare legal memoranda on diverse issues. Draft correspondence in response to client and official inquiries. Draft and respond to written discovery. Represent clients in legal proceedings, including court appearances and hearings. Prepare and enter daily time entries. Requirements 3+ years of experience in medical malpractice. NJ Bar admission required; additional Bar admissions are a plus. Litigation experience required; trial experience preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently. Strong interpersonal skills for professional interactions with court officials and attorneys. Ability to generate new clients through networking and marketing. Self-motivated and entrepreneurial. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admission to the New Jersey Bar. Skills Advanced research and analytical skills. Proficiency in drafting legal documents and correspondence. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
