About the Opportunity

As the Director of Architecture, you’ll guide the creative and operational direction of the firm’s healthcare portfolio. From major regional hospitals to advanced outpatient care centers, you’ll oversee every stage of design and delivery—championing innovation, technical integrity, and design excellence. You’ll join a collaborative team recognized nationally for its thoughtful, human-centered approach to healthcare architecture.

This full-time, on-site position is based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area and offers significant visibility within the firm’s executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical delivery of major healthcare architecture projects, ensuring alignment with clinical objectives and design standards.
• Oversee and mentor a multidisciplinary team of architects, planners, and designers.
• Collaborate with healthcare clients to define strategic design goals and translate them into innovative, functional solutions.
• Integrate evidence-based design, sustainability, and emerging technologies into every phase of project work.
• Support business development efforts and strengthen firm visibility within the healthcare design and DFW market.
• Maintain quality, schedule, and budget performance across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect (RA) with at least 10 years of experience in healthcare architecture.
• Proven record of leading large-scale healthcare projects through all phases of design and construction.
• Deep understanding of healthcare codes, operational flows, and patient-centered design.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and client engagement skills.
• Proficiency in Revit strongly preferred.
• Existing network and familiarity with the Dallas-Fort Worth healthcare market highly advantageous.
