Registered Nurse - Infusion

Job Description

Job Summary:
Providing specialized nursing care in an infusion center setting, the RN will administer treatments, monitor patient responses, and ensure compliance with all clinical protocols. The role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver safe, efficient, and quality care to oncology patients.

Responsibilities:

• Administer intravenous therapies including chemotherapy, biologics, and hydration treatments.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to treatments, adjusting care as needed.
• Ensure completion of all required documentation and maintenance of accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Adhere to infection control policies and patient safety protocols.
• Comply with compliance requirements, including pass/fail EKG exams and licensing standards.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 1 year of nursing experience in infusion or outpatient oncology.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• Proficient in EPIC EMR system.
• Previous experience with infusion centers and outpatient oncology care required.
• Knowledge of oncology procedures and medication administration preferred.
• BLS and ONS/ONCC certifications required; ACLS and OCN preferred.
