Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Mechanical Engineer to work on-site with our client, a top-tier electronics company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.

• 11 paid holidays per year, available after 90 days of employment

• Approximately 10 days of accrued PTO per year, available after 90 days of employment

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of custom automated test and mechatronic systems for customer-funded projects.

• Working across the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through integration, validation, installation, and customer acceptance.

• Highly hands-on role requiring expertise in automation, robotics, machine design, CAD, engineering analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications:

• BSME, MSME, or equivalent engineering background

• 5-15 years of experience in:

  • Mechanical design

  • Automation

  • Robotics

  • Mechatronics

  • Machine design

• Strong 3D CAD modeling and engineering documentation experience

• Experience creating:

  • Detailed drawings

  • Bills of Materials (BOMs)

  • Engineering documentation

• Mechanical design analysis experience

  • Tolerance analysis

  • Mechanical FEA and/or thermal FEA

• Ability to create basic electrical and pneumatic schematics

• Hands-on assembly, integration, troubleshooting, and system validation experience

• Experience working directly with customers and cross-functional engineering teams

• U.S. Person status required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Siemens NX

• Teamcenter

• Robotic system design

• Motion-control systems

• Pneumatic automation systems

• Equipment installation and field deployment

• Machining, fabrication, prototyping, and manufacturing knowledge

• Supplier and customer-facing project experience
