About the Role:

Join Hilton Dental as a Full-Time Dental Assistant in Ferndale, MI, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. We are a private practice looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to support our dental team and ensure a comfortable experience for our patients. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a sterile environment.
• Prepare and organize dental instruments and materials for treatments.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Manage patient records and update treatment plans accurately.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Schedule appointments and manage the front desk as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with health regulations.
• Support the dental team with administrative tasks and patient follow-ups.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferreed.     
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills for managing patient records.
• Positive attitude and a passion for patient care.
