About the Role
The Company is in need of an Interim Vice President of Finance, a strategic leader with a strong background in treasury, balance sheet management, and risk. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading critical finance and investment operations, including driving liquidity, interest rate risk management, budgeting, and financial strategy. This role involves overseeing asset-liability management, interest rate risk modeling, and liquidity forecasting, as well as leading CECL methodology and supporting enterprise risk management initiatives. The Interim VP of Finance will also be expected to present financial strategies and risk assessments to executive leadership and board-level committees, develop finance policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide leadership to a high-performing finance team. Applicants for the Interim Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive finance leadership experience within banking, credit unions, or financial services. Deep expertise in asset liability management, treasury, liquidity management, budgeting, and hedging is essential, as is a strong understanding of CECL, balance sheet risk management, and financial forecasting. An MBA and/or CPA is preferred, and the ideal candidate will be an analytical, intellectually curious leader capable of translating complex financial concepts into executive-level insights. While not mandatory, prior experience in a credit union is a bonus. This is a high-visibility leadership role that requires close partnership with the CFO and executive leadership team to influence financial strategy and long-term organizational growth.
