Accounts Payable Clerk

Accounts Payable ClerkWe are seeking a detail-oriented accounts payable clerk to join our accounting team in Fort Worth, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering invoices and reconciling accounts. This position requires data entry skills, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesEnter invoice header information and ensure proper routing through the internal approval workflowReconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepanciesMaintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable recordsReview and verify the accuracy of expense coding on company credit card chargesProvide prompt and professional responses to vendor and internal inquiriesSupport audits and compliance reviews by providing requested documentationSupport the accounting team with special projects as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1–3 years of accounts payable or general office experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational abilityStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsHow we support you:At Cummings, we are motivated by achieving our goals and fostering a strong work ethic.
