Facilities/Maintenance Technician

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Facilities/Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the property remains safe, clean, functional, and welcoming for members and guests. This role performs routine custodial, maintenance, and preventive maintenance activities while supporting the day-to-day operation of building systems and amenities. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high facility standards, proactively identifies and resolves issues, and delivers exceptional service through professional, responsive, and member-focused interactions. Compensation is based on experience. This position is based out of our Arena Sports, Issaquah location. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

Learn and apply the company's standard operating procedures. Daily custodial duties and preventive maintenance responsibility of the building and systems. Based on location, these responsibilities may include pool vacuuming and testing, adjusting pool water chemicals, arcade repair and testing (if applicable), indoor soccer turf repair and maintenance (if applicable), plumbing, light electrical and painting. Restock supplies, replenish inventory and products. Maintain a clean, safe work environment. Greet members and guests through-out the property. Understand and anticipate the needs of the property Be attentive and listen carefully to the member's and follow through. Follow up as required and communicate in a timely manner. Be an active participant in events, programs, meetings and training. Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response. Schedule varies and may require weekend and holiday hours, days and evenings.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Ability to read/understand, analyze, and interpret general training manuals, professional journals, or technical procedures; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from children, managers, Associates, members, and the general public. Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum three (3) years of building operations experience Professional, friendly manner and excellent customer service attitude and abilities Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player Self-motivated, takes initiative, anticipate the needs of others and willing to acquire new skills Well organized and detail oriented High cleanliness standards
