TOPS Specialty Surgical Hospital is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Per-Diem Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a leading specialty surgical hospital, we provide exceptional outpatient surgical care , and we’re seeking a dedicated Radiology Tech to support our imaging and diagnostic needs. This as-needed position offers flexibility while allowing you to contribute to a high-performing surgical team . The Per-Diem Radiology Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of radiographic techniques, patient positioning, and safety protocols to ensure optimal imaging results and patient care. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures following physician orders and established protocols. Ensure proper patient positioning, technique, and radiation safety measures . Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Operate and maintain radiology equipment , reporting any issues as needed. Work collaboratively with surgical teams and healthcare providers to support patient care. Follow all infection control and patient safety procedures . Required Skills Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, positioning, and imaging safety . Excellent communication and patient care skills. Ability to work efficiently in a surgical and outpatient setting . Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Required Experience ARRT (R) certification required. Active Radiologic Technologist license in Texas. BLS certification required. Experience in a surgical setting preferred but not required. Qualifications Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, positioning, and imaging safety . Excellent communication and patient care skills.
