Position Summary Department: 37697 Davie Medical Center - Physical Therapy: Bermuda Run Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule Details: Flexible schedule - 40 hours; works one weekend a month; inpatient or outpatient Pay Range: $41.10 - $61.65 per hour Position Highlights Relocation Assistance: Up to $7,500 (for qualified candidates) Setting: Outpatient Benefits Day 1 Health Coverage: choose from copay or HSA-eligible health insurance options with coverage starting on your first day of work. Qualifications Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in North Carolina with current licensure; active member of APTA encouraged but not required. Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy school. CPR certification required every two years. Responsibilities Provides patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring evaluations and treatments are comprehensive, functional, and according to the Standard of Practice. Maintains accurate patient documentation, including written evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes, patient/family education, charges, departmental statistics, and ICD codes as appropriate. Meets department financial and productivity standards, understands budgeted expectations, and adjusts individual schedules as needed. Participates in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services, identifying quality and operational opportunities. Promotes professional development and education of other health care workers; provides representation on committees; conducts in‑service training programs. Supervises physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students to develop clinical skills and ensure quality patient care. Communicates professionally and timely with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers. Provides appropriate patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines, demonstrating specific knowledge, skills, and abilities. Adheres to general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment through effective communication, interpersonal relationships, and team building. #J-18808-Ljbffr
