Mental Health Technician Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to work in the behavioral healthcare field. The Mental Health Technician provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or a registered nurse. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, and activities of daily living. This position is full-time with every other weekend rotation. Our MHTs work 12 hour shifts - 6:30am - 7:00pm or 6:30pm - 7:00am. This position also qualifies for a $2000 sign-on bonus!

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for over 35 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA, our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a psychology-related field is highly preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. Valid Drivers License with safe driving record.
