Financial Analyst (On-Site)

Location: El Paso, TX (On-site)
Pay: $61.46/hr (W2)
Type: Temporary (approx. 50 weeks)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hrs/week
Openings: 1

Position Overview

In this on-site role, the  Financial Analyst provides financial/accounting support for the BD SRG/MDS business, specifically the Infection Prevention Manufacturing Plant in  El Paso, TX . This position supports Finance and Operations leaders, helps drive manufacturing cost performance, and supports continuous improvement through strong financial analysis and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end activities to ensure timely and accurate financial results
• Ensure accurate account reconciliations and financial integrity within  SAP
• Perform detailed costing analysis (standard cost review/maintenance, variances, etc.)
• Support recurring financial reporting; identify key drivers and help lead KPI-based improvements
• Support annual budget and rolling forecast process (weekly/monthly monitoring vs. projections)
• Support internal and external  SOX audits
• Prepare/review business cases, inventory analysis, spending analysis, and other improvement initiatives
• Ensure financial reporting is compliant with  US GAAP and company policies
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years progressive accounting/finance experience in a  manufacturing environment (preferred: product costing, variances, inventory control, budgeting/forecasting)
• Advanced  Excel skills (pivot tables; also noted: macros, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
• ERP experience required ( SAP preferred )
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills; able to partner cross-functionally
• Self-driven, proactive, detail-oriented; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
