Anaplan Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead enterprise Anaplan implementation and enhancement projects . This role is focused on project delivery, stakeholder coordination, governance, and execution rather than hands-on Anaplan model development.

The Project Manager will work closely with business stakeholders, Anaplan Solution Architects, Model Builders, integration teams, QA, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of planning and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of Anaplan implementation, enhancement, and transformation projects .

• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, resource plans, and delivery schedules.

• Coordinate across business, Finance/FP&A, functional, technical, data, integration, and QA teams .

• Facilitate project status meetings, steering committee meetings, and executive-level reporting.

• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests .

• Maintain RAID logs and proactively drive risk mitigation and issue resolution.

• Coordinate requirements, design, development, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-production stabilization activities.

• Manage dependencies between Anaplan and upstream/downstream enterprise systems and data teams.

• Support release planning, cutover, go-live readiness, and production transition.

• Coordinate internal teams, implementation partners, vendors, and onsite/offshore resources.

• Ensure project deliverables meet agreed timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Project/Program Management experience managing enterprise technology implementations.

• Strong experience managing cross-functional business and technology teams.

• Experience with ERP, EPM, Financial Planning, Analytics, Data, or enterprise transformation programs .

• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Experience managing requirements, development, integrations, testing/UAT, releases, and production deployments.

• Strong RAID, dependency, change, and stakeholder management experience.

• Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills.

• Experience coordinating implementation partners, vendors, and distributed/offshore teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience managing Anaplan or other EPM/Connected Planning implementations .

• Familiarity with Anaplan implementation lifecycle, integrations, testing, releases, and deployment processes.

• Exposure to FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, sales planning, or financial planning processes.

• Experience with platforms such as Anaplan, Oracle EPM, Workday Adaptive Planning, Pigment, OneStream, or similar solutions.

• PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or similar certification is a plus.

Note: Hands-on Anaplan model-building experience is not required . The role is focused on successfully managing Anaplan project delivery; Anaplan functional and technical activities will be owned by the appropriate Solution Architects and Model Builders.
