You will provide specialist assessment, management, and treatment for adults with communication and swallowing difficulties across a range of settings, including acute and community environments. What you will do Deliver specialist assessment, management, and treatment for adults with communication and/or swallowing difficulties. Manage a specialist adult Speech & Language Therapy caseload across acute and community settings. Undertake comprehensive assessments using advanced investigative and analytical skills to inform diagnosis and intervention. Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based treatment and management plans using sound clinical reasoning. Participate in the coordination, development, and delivery of training programmes and information packages for health professionals, voluntary sector staff, and families/carers. Promote health, independence, and equality, supporting adults to maximise their communication and swallowing potential. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated, person-centred care. Requirements HCPC registration as a Speech & Language Therapist is essential . Minimum two years’ post-qualification experience in a relevant adult specialism. Experience working with adults presenting with communication and/or swallowing difficulties. A valid driving licence is desirable to support travel across sites.
