Material Handler

Summary/Objective: In this role, the Material Handler I will be responsible for receiving, shipping, sorting and storing materials. This role includes working with other warehouse team members. Essential Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Moves materials off trucks, pallets or racks and prepare orders for shipment Sort and segregate materials onto correct pallet or other locations based on item number Place labels on boxes or pallets as instructed in the process Wrap pallets with stretch wrap and other packaging supplies Put away product in designated warehouse locations Identify damage, loss, or surplus of materials and communicate issues Utilizes RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track product Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift, push and pull and withstand temperatures in a warehouse environment Ability to understand and follow instructions Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers Keep clean and safe work environment Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations, including safety Perform other duties as assigned Core Behaviors: Demonstrate to comply with Custom Goods’ Core Behaviors: Servant Leadership Passion for Excellence Integrity Resilient Intense Safety Focus Trust Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED preferred 1 year of relevant warehouse and distribution experience preferred Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Compensation $18.50 Per Hour AAP/EEO Statement: Custom Goods, LLC is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, religion, color, sex, national origin, citizenship status, uniform service member status, age, disability, sexual and gender orientation, genetic information or any other protected status in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws.
