Warehouse Forklift Operator

Work Schedule Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

Position Overview: Responsible for operating forklift machines and performing an array of general warehouse duties associated with the receiving and processing of incoming stock. Associates will be expected to hand palletize apparel items, manually shrink-wrap clusters of products, and pack and ship orders as needed.

Important Job Functions:

• Operate the forklift machine in a safe manner as directed by supervisor
• Make inspections on the equipment
• Work well with others as will work in teams of other operators
• Follow the specific company safety instructions and standards
• Keep track of the goods they move around
• Ensure the maintenance of the vehicle you are assigned
• Report any technical snags and call in the repairmen to ensure machines are operationally safe at all times
• Complete required safety checks and follow all set industry standards
• Other duties as assigned

Other Skills/Abilities:

• A high school diploma or degree or equivalent
• Courses in forklift operations are a plus
• Clear industry training
• Basic physical fitness
