Job Summary

We are hiring experienced Clamp Forklift Operators to join a fast-paced warehouse and distribution operation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a clamp forklift and safely handling, loading, unloading, staging, and storing freight.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a clamp forklift to move, load, unload, stage, and store freight.
• Load and unload trailers and containers while preventing product damage.
• Move inbound and outbound freight to designated staging, storage, and shipping areas.
• Verify product counts, labels, and shipment information.
• Inspect freight for visible damage and report discrepancies to management.
• Complete required pre-shift forklift and equipment inspections.
• Report equipment or safety concerns promptly.
• Use RF scanners, warehouse systems, and inventory tools as required.
• Assist with palletizing, wrapping, labeling, staging, and other warehouse duties.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, aisles, docks, and equipment zones.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, forklift procedures, and client requirements.
• Maintain dependable attendance and flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or schedule changes based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent clamp forklift experience preferred.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, logistics, or shipping/receiving experience.
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate a forklift with clamp attachments.
• Current forklift certification preferred.
• Must be able to successfully complete site-specific forklift certification and training.
• Basic experience using RF scanners or warehouse inventory systems.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, push, and pull.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, subject to site requirements and applicable accommodations.
• Ability to work safely in an active warehouse environment around powered industrial equipment.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for candidates who have recent, hands-on clamp forklift experience, including experience loading and unloading trailers or containers. Candidates should understand daily forklift inspections and basic warehouse safety procedures.
