Senior Sales | HORECA, Wholesale or Beef

Job Responsibilities

• Develop sales plans by territory, customer channel, and product portfolio, with clear accountability for revenue, volume, gross profit, new-customer acquisition, and receivables.
• Build target-account lists and proactively engage restaurant owners, chefs, purchasing teams, wholesalers, and distributors to create a qualified pipeline and convert opportunities into sales.
• Assess customer usage needs, menus, consumption levels, price expectations, and quality standards, then recommend suitable products, specifications, and solutions that optimize customer value.
• Coordinate product sampling, tasting, or cooking tests, and explain product origin, standards, cut/grade characteristics, storage requirements, and application methods.
• Manage the complete sales process, including quotations, commercial negotiation, demand forecasting, contracting, order follow-up, delivery coordination, and after-sales service.
• Monitor selling prices, gross margins, and receivables, and proactively address variances, slow-moving inventory, quality complaints, or delivery issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, increase repeat-purchase rates, and expand revenue within assigned accounts.
• Track imported-beef market information, pricing, competitor activity, menu trends, and local demand, and propose appropriate sales programs and inventory plans.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Quality, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure product availability, service quality, and a positive customer experience.

Job Requirements

• College or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Food Technology, or a relevant field.
• B2B sales experience in imported meat, frozen food, food service, HORECA, or food distribution; direct experience with Australian beef is preferred.
• An established network among independent premium restaurants, chefs, owners, purchasing teams, or beef wholesalers/distributors is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of product storage and cold-chain principles, with the ability to explain product origin, quality standards, specifications, and commercial value.
• Strong new-business development, consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good numerical orientation with the ability to monitor revenue, volume, gross margin, forecasts, inventory, and receivables.
• Proactive, ethical, results-oriented, and able to work independently within the assigned market.
• Good proficiency in office applications; English sufficient for reading product materials and handling work-related communication is an advantage.
• Willingness to conduct regular market visits and business travel.
