A precision manufacturer specializing in custom-engineered metal bellows, electroforms, and related assemblies for highly demanding applications. Serves industries such as aerospace, medical devices, and semiconductor manufacturing, with a focus on tight tolerances, reliability, and advanced fabrication techniques.

The Machine Operator I is responsible for performing the essential manufacturing steps of part trimming and
drilling, meeting daily production needs in manufacturing quality parts.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
* Trim plated parts to print specifications utilizing manual and programmable Lathes.
* Core drill parts using equipment including manual drill presses, lathes and programmable HAAS Drilling
machines
* Program HAAS machines for drilling operations.
* Performs preventative maintenance including fluid changes, lubrication and cleaning of machines when
needed/directed by the Lead / Supervisor
* Accurately record production information on paper travellers and in the ERP system
* Maintains a clean machine and organized work area.
* Makes minor repairs and notifies maintenance for other maintenance needs.
* Performs variety of tasks such as counting, cleaning, returning gauges and fixtures, transferring of parts
* Use measuring equipment to maintain close tolerances
* Follows schedules and procedures
* Adaptable to cell and team concepts as well as cross-training
* Sees that all safety guards are in place and in good condition
* Assists other operators if necessary
* Inspects work in progress using equipment necessary and outlined in Quality or work instructions.
Responsible for quality of own work; required to notify Supervisor or Lead if quality requirement is unclear
or questionable
* All other duties as assigned
Pay $18.00 - $21.00 10% shift difference for 2nd shift
1st shift 7am - 3:30pm
2nd shift 3:30 - Midnight

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
* Must be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specification sheets, and/or mechanical
drawings and in precision measurement or become proficient through training.
* Computer literacy
* Capable of using measuring instruments, i.e. micrometer, calipers, comparator, height gauge, etc.
* Capable of using hand tools (i.e. screwdriver, wrenches etc.)
* Ability to read and write, perform basic arithmetic and follow verbal and written instructions.
