Retail Associate

Create a welcoming, hospitable environment for every guest while delivering a premium retail experience that exceeds expectations.


Key Responsibilities


Provide accurate, up-to-date product knowledge to gift shop customers
Take customer orders and process transactions
Operate the retail POS system
Handle cash accurately
Resolve minor customer issues and escalate when necessary
Deliver premium hospitality and customer service
Restock shelves and rotate merchandise
Perform light daily cleaning
Operate bottle engraving equipment when assigned
Answer gift shop phone calls and accurately relay messages
Assist with floor resets as needed
Perform opening and closing procedures
Monitor supply levels and report needs to leadership
Communicate inventory questions or needs to the inventory specialist
Maintain presentation and organization of the gift shop throughout the day
Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
Assist with shipping and receiving as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements


Education


High School diploma or equivalent
Experience


Minimum 2 years in hospitality or customer service
Age


Must be at least 21 years old
Schedule


Availability to work 2-3 weekends per month, holidays, and evenings (when open)
Physical Requirements


Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance
Ability to move, bend, and reach as required
