Overview:
Our practice near Birmingham, Alabama is seeking a Medical Director for a low-stress, flexible-schedule opportunity focused on chronic pain management. Our role emphasizes work-life balance alongside highly competitive compensation.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Flexible
  • Monday Thursday or 3 4 days per week
  • Clinic hours: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Competitive compensation: $225,000 $250,000
• No nights, weekends, or on-call requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage medication therapy for patients with chronic, noncancer-related pain
• Conduct new patient consultations
• Provide ongoing follow-up care
• Oversee midlevel providers

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Fellowship training in pain management or equivalent advanced training strongly preferred
• Current, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of practice
• Current board certification in relevant specialty; subspecialty certification in pain management preferred
• Current DEA registration and any additional controlled substance certifications
