Job Details Job Location: DE 710 American Blvd - Bear, DE 19701 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 Salary/year Job Shift: Day Job Summary This position is a senior management position responsible for all areas of assigned operations and requires heavy involvement in the oversight, approval and planning processes of the following areas: cost efficiency, maintaining staffing levels, monitoring and improving levels of productivity and quality, providing senior management with vital reports and maintain a P&L for the warehouse and operations. Drive, review, development, and implementation of operational process to increase productivity and reduce cost Accountable for warehouse operations, including but not limited to, introduce, and expand consistent operation practices across the business to significantly improve productivity, quality, and profitability Provide analysis of business results to Chief Operating Officer on a periodic basis Participate in the strategic planning process of operations Identify, analyze, and make recommendations to correct and mitigate of problems Participate in freight negotiations Responsible for monitoring agreed operating metrics regarding units processed per hour, quality levels, and revenue per hour and revenue per square foot Create and operate within budget Responsible for all inbound/outbound transportation operations Establish and modify as necessary, all policies and procedures for operation departments Generate purchase requests for materials required for operations Responsible for safety, training & guidelines Job Specifications – includes Education, physical and mental demands, and working conditions Minimum 5 years of demonstrated senior level operations or related leadership experience Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Excellent communication skills including verbal and written presentation skills Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to develop effective process for new, and difficult operation problems Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Excel, word, power point, and experience with working with WMS systems Experience in shipping consumer product to retail, distribution centers, and direct to consumer. Including the accompanying skills of EDI labeling, charge back avoidance, routing guide adherence, multi shipper/courier environment including Experience as a team builder, leader, coach & motivator College graduate or equivalent experience in operations Working Conditions This job operates in a warehouse environment and could be exposed to various temperature changes. This role typically requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
