MRI Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Weekend Nights - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing MRI procedures according to established protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. The technologist will work collaboratively within a team environment while providing high-quality care to patients during their diagnostic imaging experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations as ordered by the physician.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patients' conditions and ensure safety during procedures.
• Maintain MRI equipment and ensure it operates properly.
• Document patient interactions and procedures in the charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT registered in Radiology or MRI.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in MRI imaging preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is a plus.
