Advanced Practice Provider - Outpatient Clinic, Family Medicine - Newport Health Center

Overview

Newport Health Center is currently seeking a primary care Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant to work with our team to manage the health and wellness of our patients. You will work collaboratively to provide comprehensive care to our patients in western New Hampshire. Working under the general direction of the medical director, you will practice autonomously as well as in collaboration with physicians, APRNs, and PA colleagues as well as other healthcare providers to provide primary healthcare to patients in our practice.

Newport Health Center is a Rural Health Clinic with onsite services including lab and radiology and close access to New London Hospital and Dartmouth Health.

Known for its abundant outdoor activities and maple sugar and apple orchards, Newport is a classic New England town that is located six miles from Mount Sunapee and Lake Sunapee and 50 minutes from the state capital, Concord. Considered the cultural center of New Hampshire, Concord boasts eateries, cultural venues, unique shops, a boutique movie theater, performing arts centers, music and art schools, galleries, and more. Concord's location also provides easy access to the coast, the mountains, and local farms and is only an hour from Boston.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited APRN academic program
National specialty certification as FNP, WHNP, PNP, ANP
Minimum of 2 years working in a medical office or hospital setting as a nurse practitioner preferred

Required Licensure/Certifications

Licensed RN with NH eligibility

Licensed APRN with NH eligibility

DEA License

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(S):

(BLS) Basic Life Support
