Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathology licensure in Virginia
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• Experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders, as well as best practices for assessments and interventions
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic evaluations and implement therapy for students with diverse speech, language, and communication challenges
• Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure students receive comprehensive support
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring
• Offer education and training for teachers and families to promote carryover of therapeutic strategies
