Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Location: Kalamazoo MI 49001

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday / 3pm to 11pm (2nd shift)

Pay Rate: USD 17/hr 

Qualifications:
• Experience working with manufactured products and production equipment preferred
• Ability to follow work orders, machine instructions, and supervisor directions
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to set up and adjust production machinery
• Ability to monitor machine operations and identify issues
• Basic computer skills to record production and processing data
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow quality standards

Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate machines for finishing operations
• Perform grinding, cutting, dressing, speed testing, and sandblasting tasks
• Work with products such as abrasive wheels, abrasive segments, ceramic finishes, and kiln furniture
• Select machine tooling based on work orders and production requirements
• Adjust equipment and machinery using hand and power tools
• Load and unload materials manually or with hoists
• Monitor equipment during production and make adjustments as needed
• Trim, scrape, shape, or deburr parts using hand tools
• Move materials, equipment, and parts to designated work areas
• Record production and processing information on forms and computer systems
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality requirements are met

$ 17/hour 2nd shift from 3pm to 11pm 3 months Role Summary: Construct, assemble, or rebuild equipment. Responsibilities & Requirements: - Operating Machine or Equipment – Operate basic equipment and machines and carry out routine tasks - Operations Management – Carry out operational tasks by following established processes - Equipment Maintenance and Repair - Help to maintain and repair equipment and appliances by carrying out preparations and providing assistance - Health, Safety and Environment – Follow basic mandatory work instructions to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others - Operational Compliance – Follow a straightforward mandatory procedure to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct - Internal Communications – Exchange information with people by having courteous interactions with them - Other duties as assigned Preferred Experience / Skills: - Verbal Communication – Uses clear and effective elementary verbal communication skills to express ideas and request actions - Planning and Organizing – Works with guidance plan, organization, and prioritize activities to efficiently meet business objectives - Policy and Procedures - Works with guidance to understand policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives - Health and Safety - Applies elementary concepts to manage and apply safe systems of work - Equipment Utilization - Works to optimize the utilization of production plant, equipment, and materials - Computer-Aided Design (CAD) - Works at a basic level to perform computer-aided design (CAD) - HS Diploma / GED and / or 0-2 years relevant experience

Job Title: Equipment Assembly Worker

Work Schedule: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Pay Rate: USD $17.00/hr

Contract: 3 Months

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Experience operating basic machines or equipment preferred
• Basic understanding of equipment maintenance and repair processes
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and work instructions
• Basic verbal communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks with guidance
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
• Basic CAD knowledge preferred

Responsibilities:
• Construct, assemble, or rebuild equipment
• Operate basic equipment and machines to complete routine tasks
• Perform operational tasks by following established processes
• Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs
• Follow safety procedures to protect employees and the work environment
• Ensure work meets quality standards and compliance requirements
• Communicate and exchange information with team members
• Support proper use of production equipment and materials
• Complete additional duties as assigned
