Income Auditor

Position Summary The Income Auditor is responsible for ensuring transaction balancing between systems and researching and resolving variances. The auditor also reviews reporting to identify transactions not aligned with policy and is critical in maintaining accuracy in the system and preventing fraud. General Responsibilities Complete daily point of sale payment reconciliations including research and resolution of variances. Assist in correction processes through ongoing communication to supervisory staff when errors are identified. Audit transactions from all resort points of sale, including discounts, refunds, and products. Confirm POS close locations and statement postings. Provide ongoing communication to supervisory staff regarding identified issues. Prepare journal entries where applicable. Respond to guest inquiries related to credit card issues and chargebacks. Participate in training or inquiries from Operations or other audit staff. Engage in other projects as identified. Required Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate resolutions to queries and discrepancies. Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and multitasking abilities. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain detailed records and follow operating procedures. Experience with D365, RTP, or Sirus POS system is a plus. Required Education Minimum of two years’ experience in accounting. Accounting or related degree is a plus. Compensation Denver area base hourly pay range: $18.27 – $25.48 per hour.
