About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Asset Management to lead the strategic management of a multifamily real estate portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the portfolio is in line with investment goals and is performing at an optimal level. This role involves close collaboration with acquisitions and finance teams to evaluate opportunities, oversee due diligence, and develop and implement asset-level business plans. The Head of Asset Management will also be tasked with managing third-party property management teams, conducting financial analysis, and overseeing capital expenditure planning to enhance the portfolio's value. Applicants for the Head of Asset Management position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or a related field, with 12-15 years' of experience in multifamily asset management or similar roles. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in managing institutional-quality portfolios, a strong background in acquisitions, underwriting, and investment analysis, and proficiency in property management systems. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are essential, as is the ability to travel regularly for asset evaluation and investment opportunities. Experience in real estate private equity or institutional investment platforms is preferred. The Head of Asset Management will also be responsible for mentoring and leading junior team members, so a leadership and mentoring background is beneficial.
