Hampton Inn Fishkill is hiring for a Hotel Houseperson position.
Part time - 2 days a week: 9am to 5pm
We offer a competitive wage, daily meal, medical and 401k benefits. We also have a great travel program after 90 days!
The duties and responsibilities of a Houseperson typically include:
- Clean and maintain public areas of the establishment like lobbies, hallways, and restrooms
- Assist room attendants by removing trash and dirty linens from guest rooms
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linen and other amenities in rooms and common areas
- Respond to guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally
- Perform deep-cleaning tasks, like carpet shampooing or washing windows, as needed
- Move and arrange furniture, and turn mattresses periodically
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping supervisor
- May assist with laundry duties like washing, drying, and folding linens
