Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D. preferred) from an accredited institution
• Current Kansas Audiologist license or eligibility through the Kansas Board of Examiners in the Fitting and Dispensing of Hearing Instruments
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA highly desirable
• Prior school-based or pediatric audiology experience preferred
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to complete all required background checks and onboarding processes

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct hearing screenings and in-depth audiological evaluations for students
• Assess auditory processing and hearing disorders that impact educational performance
• Recommend, program, and monitor hearing assistive technology and amplification systems
• Consult with teachers, parents, and related service professionals to enhance classroom accessibility
• Offer guidance regarding classroom accommodations and best practices for students with hearing loss
• Maintain thorough records, ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute specialized knowledge to student service plans
