Senior Manager, Marketing Operations

Drive end-to-end planning and execution of complex, high-priority USCM and GCSM marketing initiatives across existing and new platforms, managing milestones, dependencies, risks, and outcomes Partner across Marketing, MarOps, Product, and Technology teams to translate business needs into actionable plans, remove roadblocks, and drive successful execution Create structure and visibility across interconnected initiatives, ensuring alignment on priorities, milestones, timelines, and dependencies Identify and implement improvements to processes, tools, and ways of working to increase speed, efficiency, quality, and scalability Develop clear reporting and executive-ready communications Synthesize complex information into recommendations Mentor colleagues to foster collaboration and continuous improvement Requirements Experience leading complex cross-functional programs, operational initiatives, technology implementations, and/or process transformation Strong program management skills with experience managing interconnected workstreams, milestones, dependencies, and risks Ability to build trusted relationships and influence across Marketing, MarOps, Product, and Technology Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex needs into clear actions and recommendations Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with varied audiences and leadership Ability to drive decisions and results in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and ambiguity Knowledge of marketing operations, campaign execution, and/or MarTech platforms preferred Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required; the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions Bachelor's Degree Core Competencies Demonstrates strong program management capabilities, leading complex cross-functional initiatives while fostering collaboration across Marketing, MarOps, Product, and Technology teams.
