Overview Basic Qualifications: The salary range listed below is representative; compensation will be based on role, level, and relevant experience. Build the network that powers Florida’s future. Peraton is assembling teams for the MyFloridaNet-3 (MFN-3) Program, one of the largest statewide network modernization initiatives in the region. This program will modernize Florida’s critical telecommunications backbone, supporting 22+ million residents, public safety agencies, schools, utilities, and essential government services across the state. We are seeking experienced professionals in Network Operations, Network Security Engineering (NOC/SOC), and Project Managers and Project Coordinators to support this long-term, high-visibility program. Roles are primarily onsite in Tampa, FL, and Herndon, VA with additional opportunities in Tallahassee, FL, and select remote positions. Who Should Apply Network and security professionals with experience supporting high-availability, enterprise environments Project Coordinators who thrive in a complex, multi-stakeholder IT programs Active-duty transitioning service members and veterans looking to continue their impact in public service–focused work Candidates with experience in state government or public sector IT environments Locations and Work Model Network Operations Center (NOC) & Security Operations Center (SOC) Roles Primary onsite location: Tampa, FL Secondary location: Herndon, VA Staffing anticipated to be approximately split between Tampa and Herndon Project Coordinators Expected to be based in Tallahassee, FL Network Engineers Opportunities based in Tampa, FL, Herndon, VA, or Tallahassee, FL Security Engineers Opportunities based in Tampa, FL, Herndon, VA, or Tallahassee, FL Work Model Some roles may be eligible for telework or hybrid arrangements, based on role requirements and program needs Opportunities and Role Requirements Network Operations Engineers (Tiers 1–3) Support a 24x7x365 Network Operations Center (NOC) environment through shift-based work Monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents, and support operational stability Work hands-on with enterprise-class networking environments Escalate, document, and resolve issues in accordance with SLAs and operational procedures Experience with large-scale or mission-critical networks preferred Security Operations Engineers (Tiers 1–3) Support a 24x7x365 Security Operations Center (SOC) through shift-based work Monitor security events, perform incident response, and support vulnerability mitigation efforts Apply network and cybersecurity best practices to protect enterprise environments Collaborate with network, engineering, and compliance teams to maintain a secure posture Experience in public sector or regulated environments is a plus Network Engineers Install, configure, and maintain core enterprise network infrastructure Support network modernization, optimization, and ongoing operational needs Demonstrate a strong understanding of enterprise network topologies and protocols Work independently while collaborating across engineering and operations teams Telecom or large-scale infrastructure experience preferred Security Engineers Install, configure, and maintain enterprise security tools and technologies Support security architecture, operational requirements, and compliance standards Demonstrate a strong understanding of network security technologies and frameworks Partner with operations teams to ensure secure, reliable system performance Experience supporting compliance-driven environments is a plus Project Coordinators Lead and coordinate cutovers from existing infrastructure to Peraton’s network environment Manage schedules, dependencies, and stakeholder communications across technical and client teams Serve as a client-facing point of coordination throughout implementation phases Bring strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills Experience supporting IT infrastructure, telecom, or network modernization projects preferred Who Should Apply, Locations, and Work Model sections provide guidance on roles and placement; candidates from public sector IT environments are encouraged to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr Peraton
