Senior Project Manager – Healthcare Construction Location: Houston, Texas Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex healthcare construction projects throughout the Houston market. This role is ideal for a construction leader with deep experience managing hospital, medical office, surgical center, and healthcare facility projects from preconstruction through closeout. The Senior Project Manager will oversee project execution, client relationships, financial performance, and team leadership while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead all phases of healthcare construction projects including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, execution, and closeout Manage multiple projects simultaneously with project values ranging from renovations to large-scale ground-up facilities Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and healthcare stakeholders Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, and risk management plans Ensure compliance with healthcare facility regulations, infection control protocols, life safety requirements, and AHCA/FGI guidelines Lead project teams including Project Managers, Superintendents, and support staff Conduct regular owner meetings and provide clear reporting on schedule, cost, and project status Negotiate contracts, change orders, and subcontract agreements Drive quality control, safety performance, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle Support business development efforts and maintain strong industry relationships within the Houston healthcare market Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field 10+ years of commercial construction experience with significant healthcare project experience required Proven success managing hospital, medical office, surgical center, or healthcare renovation projects Strong knowledge of healthcare construction standards, phased renovations, and occupied facility operations Experience managing projects valued at $20M+ preferred Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling platforms OSHA certification and familiarity with healthcare safety standards preferred What We Offer Performance-based bonus opportunities 401(k) with company match Vehicle allowance or company vehicle Professional development and career advancement opportunities Opportunity to work on high-profile healthcare projects across Houston About the Role This position offers the opportunity to join a growing team delivering impactful healthcare environments that serve communities across the Houston region.
