Goodmans is looking for a Warehouse Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in doing things right, enjoys working with others, and likes seeing the results of their work at the end of the day.

You'll play an important part in keeping our warehouse running smoothlyfrom receiving and inspecting incoming furniture to tracking inventory, staging orders, and making sure our installation teams have what they need to be successful.

What You'll Do

As a Warehouse Technician, you'll:

• Receive inbound shipments and inspect and document product condition
• Accurately record where products are stored in the warehouse
• Pull, organize, and stage furniture for upcoming deliveries and installations
• Help maintain accurate inventory for customer orders and asset-management accounts
• Safely move, store, and handle furniture and other products
• Process merchandise returns and make sure returned products are properly documented and dispositioned
• Keep warehouse areas clean, safe, organized, and efficient
• Communicate with teammates and other departments to keep projects moving
• Help prepare installation teams for successful jobs
• Use visual tools and KPIs to track workload and progress
• Identify problems, suggest solutions, and help eliminate unnecessary work and waste
• Look for opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and the customer experience

• Have approximately two years of warehouse and/or inventory experience
• Are dependable and take accountability for your work

• Care about quality and customer service
• Enjoy learning new skills and sharing what you know with others
• Are already forklift certified or are willing to become certified after you're hired

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on warehouse position. You must be able to:

• Lift and/or push at least 50 pounds
• Stand and remain active for the majority of an 8-hour shift
• Safely perform the physical tasks associated with receiving, moving, storing, pulling, and staging furniture
