This is a unique opportunity within Illumina with the exciting mission of significantly expanding the use of Illuminas entire portfolio of solutions across all target markets./ppThe Global Microarray Business VP General Manager will oversee a portfolio comprised of instruments, reagents consumables, workflow automation, software analytics, and laboratory services across research and clinical customers. Reporting to an Executive Leadership Team member, the General Manager will oversee business performance across functions, managing research, technology and product development, product management, marketing, and collaborating with global and regional commercial and operations teams./ppA deep understanding of the microarray market and technology trends and a commitment to creativity are essential for leading this organization and business to deliver a differentiated competitive portfolio of microarray solutions. drive benchmarking and best practice sharing and execution across all functions regions./li/ulh3Organizational Leadership/h3ulliLead, inspire, and grow a high-performing cross-functional global team across Product Management, Marketing, RD, Operations, Quality, and Sales Service functions./liliFoster a customer- and business-led culture of accountability, discipline, collaboration, agility, and innovation centered on a complete portfolio of microarray solutions delivering differentiated value for customers./liliServe as a key voice of the customer, influencing company-wide initiatives./liliChampion inclusion, talent development, and future business-leadership succession across the company./li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulliDemonstrated business-leadership in building and scaling global life science, ideally microarray, portfolio of solutions and organizational capabilities with cross-functional leadership responsibility and full PL management responsibility./liliDemonstrated experience leading regulatory-compliant product and workflow solutions development and delivery of a complete portfolio of instrument, consumables, software, analytics, and service offerings./liliAbility to influence across all functions including core RD and Regional Commercial teams in addition to shared-service organizations in a matrixed environment./liliStrong financial acumen and ability to translate strategy into sustainable scalable business results./li/ulh3Experience/Education:/h3ulliBachelors or Masters degree in life sciences, and ideally within the genomics microarray applications spaces; MBA or advanced clinical degree preferred/liliMinimum 20 years of increasing leadership experience, working in a complex matrixed organization. 5 or more years of executive or senior-level leadership experience preferred. Minimum 2 years leading a business with full PL management responsibility./li/ul/div
