About the Role

We are looking for a Senior/Staff Engineer to design and build scalable, high-performance systems that power critical financial infrastructure. This role requires strong technical ownership, the ability to operate in ambiguous environments, and a drive to deliver impactful solutions at scale.

You will work on complex backend systems handling large volumes of data and high-throughput transactions, contributing directly to product direction and technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, production-ready systems
• Architect backend services for high-throughput and large-scale data processing
• Own and drive technical decisions across projects
• Rapidly iterate on products and systems in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate cross-functionally to launch and improve software products

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering
• Strong experience building scalable distributed systems in production
• Proven ability to handle large datasets and high-throughput systems
• Experience launching and iterating on complex applications or platforms
• Ability to move quickly and deliver pragmatic solutions

Nice to Have

• Experience in FinTech or financial systems
• Strong experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s)
• Experience with Python and/or React at scale
• Previous involvement in hiring or recruiting processes
